I did have problems trying to figure out why Nola could be touched all of a sudden but I didn't want to over analyze it. It was quickly resolved and there was a seriously sensual scene and everyone was happy. The characters were already in love they just were having uh.issues. This one was pretty short and to the point. So I didn't know these characters like I knew of the characters in the previous story. Showalter's Atlantis series book as of yet. Just a thought, it's a Beauty and the Beast tale with hell, demons, and lots of fire.
I think there is good chemistry and an excellent story.
The two characters in this book are actually very good for each other. This was a nice little story, even with the death and knowing the ending from the beginning. Too much breaking of the fourth wall for me, I guess. I couldn't get into it, and ended up putting the book down only a page or so in.
